Hi KC, I used to live in Sherman Oaks.

If you boil the paleo diet down, here is what you get:

1. Eat unlimited meat, fish, and poultry.

2. Eat unlimited nuts (except peanuts), fruit and vegetables, except starchy
vegetables such as potatoes, yams, etc.

3. Avoid sugar, dairy, grains of all types, and beans. No bread, no pasta,
no rice, no beans, no sugary desserts.

4. Eat food that is closest to natural and wild. Eat wild fish instead of
farmed fish if possible. Grass fed animal meat instead of farmed grain-fed
animal, if possible.

Don't worry about fat consumption.

Best of luck -- find a good doctor who subscribes to low carb paleo type
eating and follow their advice!

--Richard
