That would be me! No real trouble once you get used to it. I can't find
grass fed beef, or organic meat. But then I have not really looked for
it. The prices of food here tend to be quite high, be ready for a
shock! But you have to look around and find the local supermarket that
caters to the lower classes. Then things begin to look more reasonable.
I can buy Aussie and US beef there, but not in the higher class
markets. I don't know if this beef is grass fed or not. Sometimes it is
very fatty, and sometimes very lean. Japanese love very very well
marbled, soft meat. The opposite of what most Aussies seem to prefer.

There is a good variety of fruits and veggies, seafood in the markets.
Again, some things you are used to seeing won't be there, and some new
things will. Just takes getting used to it. I am not super strict,
which helps. A paleo puritan would have more trouble here. Not being
able to read labels is one big problem for me. There are organic veggi
services, that deliver a box of local produce to your door once a week.

Where will you be living? And why? Keep me up to date, maybe I can help.
