I imagine in 1972 it was around $4.00 per hour, let's see, Theresa came at 8
AM, left at 5 PM and mother fed her a good lunch always. :-> It was my
mother's only indulgence, to have a cleaning lady on Friday to clean for
Shabot. I think my mom's friends made it a task to hire Theresa, they made
sure she had work six days a week between all of them, one house a day.
Theresa had a son with CP, and that's why they came to California.
