pw-webspeak is a good product. One of the difficult things about accessing
the web with speech is the issue of frames. pw-webspeak and JAWS 3.2 win
in this catagory hands down. It is that simple.
JAWS works particularly well with Explorer 4.01 and above. IT works well
with all browsers but there are a couple of features that are extremely
helpful in navigating web sites.
133 mhz is OK. 64 mb ram is OK. Might be a bit slow but they will do the
job.
One nice thing about pw-webspeak is that it has screen enlargement as well
as software speech.
I would think that anb actual screen reading program like JAWS or
WindowEyes would be better in the sense that it would do more than access
the web.
