Hello, I just went through this same scenario and spent 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft. Are you running Windows XP? If your running XP on both machines it is actually fairly easy to do. You first set up a home office under My Network Places and after that you have to verify that the machines see each other. Once the machines see each other you use the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" which can be found by going to Start, Accessories, System Tools, Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. Good Luck. a USB cable? If so, what H/W and S/W are required.
All hints and ideas most welcome.
Thanks
