Hi,

If the Bios sees the CD-Rom but Windows doesn't see it, then maybe
reloading the DOS cd-rom
Driver would work. Does the CD-rom work in the Dos mode, ie before you
boot into windows?

If windows does see it and it doesn't play, and another doesn't play,
you might check 1) settings in windows dealing with the cd-rom and 2)
check for virus's.

Thanks and have a Great Day!

Joe Lore

Hi,
I have an older Digital Celebris 590 that will no longer read from the
cd-rom. I have tried anotherr drive with the same results. The system is
a P-90 with Win95b and 16MB ram
