64 or 128 ram?

Hi

My PC had 64 mb sdram (spectec pc100) to which I added another
64 mb sdram (smart modular pc100 ) as given to me by a friend.

My system properties (control panel_system) is still reporting 64 mb!
Whereas the boot process is reporting 128 mb and so does the bios.

Do I have 64 or 128 ram? and why is this discrepancy?
