About myristic and lauric fatty acids we were discussing recently.......
What is the difference between Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil? Do they come
from the same plant but not the same part of the plant? The USDA database
shows their profiles as being very different. But, unfortunately, I don't
know at a glance most of the identifier numbers associated with the
different fatty acids, so it's impossible for me to compare the two because
I don't know which is lauric and which is myristic.
All I could find today in the big city was palm oil. Is there any benefit to
eating it? Any particular detriment? Can someone fill me in, please?
