I was thrilled to purchase a package of this product, which is labeled
"Wheat, Gluten and Lactose Free".

I called the number (888-877-2110)for the manufacturer Oven Ready Foods in
Rogers, MN (USA) to double check on the wheat free/gluten free status.

The very pleasant representative very confidentally stated that all flavors
of this product are gluten free... but when I asked if they are made in a gf
environment, she said that they are not, but the product line used for the
meringues is never used for any gluten-containing processing. When asked how
far away any wheat or gluten containing ingredients are, she said that it is
about 10-15 feet away from the meringues line.

I do not believe that this situation warrents "wheat/gluten free" labeling
due to the pote
ntial for cross contamination.
