Hi listmates,

This may not be a "big" summary, the information i recieved back from
everyone fits into 2 basic catagories. One is "thinkging about it" and
one is "have used it, or are using it".

Most everyone stated that this is a very HARD decision to make. And i
agree, we are just at the getting educated stage, before we have another
consult with the 2 doctors caring for our daughter. That was my reason
for the original post, to gather information and peoples experiences.
Everyone who shared that they had NOT used GH but were thinking about it,
warned against terrible side affects. But EVERYONE who HAS used GH, stated
their child did NOT experience any side affects. One adult responed who
uses it for reasons other than growth, stated it had helped her
tremendously. GH is VERY costly, this I did not know. Most insurance only
pays 80% and this tends to run close to 400 to 500 $ a month.

My fear of the "wait and see" attitude which many have adopted, is that
my daughter does not grow to potential, and 5 years down the road we
are kicking ourselves for not giving GH the attention it deserves.

Many shared their child grew much later in life, between the ages of 14
and 18....this is hopeful too.

Thank you to all who wrote and shared their very personal stories. I
appreciate that more than you know.

Betsy
