O.K. Holiday season is upon me and I’d better start planning a few
things.

I would like to make a pumpkin pie using a cracker crumb crust or cookie
crumb crust. Gluten Free of course. I thought I could use crushed,
homemade GF vanilla wafers. I made the vanilla wafers but found that
they crumbled a little too well and the crumbs seem too fine for making
a decent crumb crust. I wonder if any of you have experimented with any
homemade cookies or crackers for a crumb crust and what the results
were.

I know I can get some rice bran crackers from the health food store and
use them for this but thought I’d like to try something homemade
instead.

Thanks
