Thank you to all who answered my e-mail! You have made my husbands day by telling me that Kraft American cheese slices are GF. He is the one who has been recently diagnosed with CD, so I am trying to learn everything about what he eats.

And also thanks for the information on xanthan gum. I know now it is a powder, and sounds like the majority of you say it is pricey. I do have a local health food store so I am going to try to find it there. Thanks so much for all of your help, and good luck with your GF diets!
