Jonathan Mozen recently conducted an interview with Robert Gumson who
sued Southwest Airlines over the accessibility of its website. Robert is
a blind computer user who accesses the web with JAWS for Windows. He
works as the Manager of Independent Living Centers at the Administration
Unit in the Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals
with Disabilities in the New York State Education Department located in
Albany, New York.
A federal judge in Miami recently dismissed the lawsuit Robert and Access
Now brought against Southwest because she did not believe Title III of
the Americans with Disabilities Act applied to the Internet.
