Hello,

In my quest for foods I can pick up on the road, I'm looking for gluten-free
mainstream breakfast cereals. I recently spoke with a representative from
Kellog's about Corn Pops (01/08/2003). She said they don't use any
gluten-containing ingredients in Corn Pops. All other Kellogg's cereals are
made with gluten-containing ingredients. They don't use a separate line to
make them, but they do clean the equipment between cereals. However, they
can't guarantee GF status because the same line is used for all cereals.
Has anyone had a reaction to it? I ate them recently and felt a mild
problem after a couple of days, but I suspect there may be other foods that
irritate me, perhaps the shrimp I ate on the same days.

I also spoke with a rep from Quaker (01/08/2003), who said they do use a
separate line to make their white and yellow corn meals, so they are GF.

Thanks,
Erin
