In the '60's I worked at UCP of Dallas. We received a letter during the $
campaign saying I will not contribute to "smoking mothers". We thought this
to be a nut case.
Well, after many years, we've discovered smoking is often a precursor to low
birth weight infants! The "nut case" wasn't so nutty after all, although I
still have a problem with blaming children for the vices of parents.
