There have been a couple of new worms show up on the Internet during the
last week, and a couple of them include code to perform Denial-of-Service
attacks against various network resources. If nothing has changed at your
end, I'd try again in a day or two in case your bank (or your or their ISP)
has been hit by one or more of these.
Updating your antivirus in the meantime would be prudent. Vendors are
getting additional virus updates out as fast as they dare.
