The number one PCI shares an IRQ with the AGP slot. While you wouldn't want
to stick your SCSI controller in there, you can put other cards in there
without a problem. I routinely use it to run another PCI video card for
dual monitors. I would move the PCI video card into PCI 1. AGP and PCI 1
can share an IRQ. If you are running 2000, XP or Linux then you shouldn't
have any problem.
BTW, check your manual ... I bet that number 6 slot shares the
Bussmastering thread with your on board controller.
