Our allergist is recommending that our 6 year old, milk-allergic (anaphylactic), daughter consider using the monthly injection Xolair.  It's supposed to inhibit IGE reaction.  Its FDA approved for asthma treatment, but apparently is also being used for food allergies.

Does anybody out there have and knowledge or experience regarding this new treatment?
