Sounds to me like you got the standard automated response from some poor
girl probably on $5 an hour!

It might be better to call their 1-800 number (I'm assuming they have
one) and ask in person - its sometimes easier to be a bit insistent on
the phone that by e-mail!

I hope they are OK for your daughter.

I am lucky that neither of my allergies are severe enough to have to
worry about cross-contamination or even small amounts.  I sympathise
with those who do have to.
