I am truly sorry for you and and your family. One of my good friends is a hospice nurse supervisor for the VNA. She is truly kind, wonderful, and caring. I am sure that your sister is receiving excellent care if all of the nurses are like her. That is a strong likelihood as the hospice agencies strive for excellence.
You and yours are in my thoughts,
Greta

Subject: a report on my sister
well, i went to see betty, my younger sister, this
past weekend. in the 1 month since i had seen her,
she had went down drastically. she did not get out
of bed at all while we visited.
tonight i talked to my older sister ,trisha. she
said betty went to her doctor and the doctor told
her that the chemo was not slowing the cancer at all
and that she was discontining giving it to her. she
will set up hospice care for betty. she wrote more
stronger meds for pain.
trisha said probably april or may at the latest
would probably be it. it is hard seeing her in so
much pain.
