Trisha,
Research "sluggish thyroid". Kelp and Magnesium would help you a lot with
PMS/fatigue/depression, etc. Kelp boosts a sluggish thyroid. I take 1,000mg
of kelp tid and haven't felt this good in years. I was classic sluggish
thyroid, though tests proved otherwise. I had the thyroid antibodies test
and the t3/t4. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try kelp, based on presenting
symptoms of sluggish thyroid. Appreciated improvements almost immediately.
I take Swiss Natural kelp (mega kelp). You can order online at
www.greencanyon.com - I also take calcium-magnesium tablets. I suspect a lot
of women who were diagnosed with fibromyalgia may actually have sluggish
thyroid and doctors didn't go far enough in testing for it. As a consequence
they're not being treated for it specifically, and physicians treat groups
of symptoms without getting to the cause.
Cheers!
Carla
