Welcome to the world of middle management--where you get shot at from below
AND above! ;-)

Just kidding, Kat.  That's great!  It's really cool to see someone
recognized for their work ethic, abilities and initiative and not their
intra-office political machinations.  Even more cool that your disability
wasn't perceived as an impediment to the management track.

Congrats!  Yes, your mom & dad would be proud.  I am.
