Well folks, I was on the jfw lite home page, and found this awesome tip on how to make winamp play all audio files, and also, play your cds.
I've pasted it in below.

To make winamp your default player for all file types it supports, run
winamp and do a control P for prefernces.  You will be in a tree view.
Find set up and if you hear set up closed, press the right arrow to open it
and arrow down and find file types.  Tab until you hear select all button
and press the space bar.  Be sure and press the space bar, enter does not
work.  If you also want winamp to play your audio cd's tab until you hear
associate with audio cd's and press the space bar to check it.  Tab to the
close button and hit enter.  Close winamp.
