Cordain's paper explains that very well, as does Ray's book. Foriegn
proteins bring with them specific problems of their own right; the carbs
provide so-called "empty calories" which, by themselves, leave them verboten
for many, myself included. The cradle of civilization --Egypt-- is where
grains played a huge role in the economy, the diet and society's collective
health. This is where diabetes was first diagnosed. No fuzzy math on this
one!
