My daughter is 7 and was diagnosed 2 years ago. She has never had a single
reaction to food since we started the gluten free diet at that time. We
are careful, but we do eat out often and tend to be more trusting than most
people I read on this list serve. We read about the Deland millet bread
and went and bought a loaf. We were so excited because it tasted so
wonderful, finally a good bread for her. She ate one piece and 2 hours
later vomited several times. She was sick all day. We waited 2 weeks and
then gave her another piece today to see if it was in fact the bread.
Again, she vomited over and over 2 hours after eating the bread. She was
sick all day.

Is it the millet? I never thought of her as overly sensitive to gluten,
but this reaction was severe. Any similar experiences?

Thanks

Carole
