Well, I don't know about the U.K., but here there is digital and analogue
stuff on that band, and many different devices. Some come out distorted,
while some come through clear, and I have tried AM and wide band FM, and
sometimes it has helped, and sometimes it hasn't, but tfr the most part I
am on narrow band FM. The other thing that I have noticed with a scanner
that I have that will allow me to do wide band FM, as well as my THF6A is
that I sometimes get cellular immages, both digital and analogue, but I
haven't had that come up in narrow band FM.
