Please excuse the cross-post, but I am currently very frustrated.

I am running Windows 2000 and recently attempted to upgrade Real Player 8
Basic to the new Real One Player.  That never happened successfully.  I have
since been trying to get Real Player 8 Basic to function properly again,
without any luck.

I have removed the program and reinstalled from the Real Player 8 Basic
download, but still get messages wanting to auto-configure and then the
thing still won't play, saying something usually about not being able to
connect with the server.

I know this has been previously addressed, but (guilty, guilty, guilty) I
wasn't having problems at the time, so didn't pay much attention.
Therefore, if someone wants to answer privately, feel free to do so.

Thanks for any help you may be able to give.
