Ah - that's an interesting question.
Depending on the nature of the allergy/intolerance, you might see
some change. If it's true allergy (which it may have morphed into),
then I'd expect little change. Lactase deficiency? Not sure on that.
There was some talk a while back about the so-called leaky gut
theory. Not sure whether that's ever been supported by any controlled
studies. I personally attributed my dairy-triggered arthritis to
that, but without any real basis in science. In some realm of
imaginative thinking, there could be something in the thought that a
healed GI tract may not "leak" some of the dairy proteins. If your
symptoms are not serious or life-threatening, it might be worth a challenge.
