If you live in a Jewish area, look for Beef Fry in the kosher section of
the supermarket. All the taste, salt, fat and nitrites that you love in
bacon, but it's kosher/meat and dairy and lactose free! It has a corned
beef-ish look to it and comes pre-packaged. Genuardi's in Wynnewood, PA
(Suburban Philly) sometimes carries it.
