Boy, you had a weird ex!  Here we wear shoes without socks all the time in
the summer, and I'm not talking about sandals.  Sheesh...!  Guys wear
Topsiders without socks, too, as well as Sebagos.  (For those who don't
know, Topsiders and Sebagos are yuppie moccasins with rubber soles).  Too
hot to wear socks in July and August, although I've noticed not so many
going bare this summer as usual.

Personally, I wear socks all the time because it's more comfortable for me,
but that's just me.  And I work for a pantyhose manufacturer!
