It's a mystery to me now. All you're supposed to have
to do is type connect to take control, but I tried it
last night, and I tried it just now, and it doesn't
respond to any of the chat commands. When I first
tried it weeks ago, as soon as I'd connected via
echolink it started sending me the frequency it was on
every ten seconds or so. It doesn't do that now. I'm
going to check the echolink yahoo group for any new
messages about it, because they've certainly done
something new. The chat commands link is still there
on the web-page, but there isn't anything saying u can
use them without the software anymore, so I have a
feeling that option is gone. It certainly isn't
available on the other remotes' web-pages. I hadn't
checked them out till last night actually. They all say
you need the software from w4mq to operate them.
