I'm not sure who you were addressing this too. As for me, I do run ASAP for
the dos stuff in dos boxes off of windows and all works very well for me.
JFW itself doesn't read the programs I run in dos very well within dos boxes
and while I suppose I could probably write scripts to accomplish these
tasks, I really don't have the expertise or patience to do that. My main
concern here was noise generated by the Doubletalk internal synth but I'm
not seeing many good alternatives to it. On the other hand I took the
doubletalk out of my computer last night and notice little difference in
overall noise level or amount of spurs. I have a feeling the noise here is
coming from other sources outside my immediate control. I think the only
real alternative might be the MFJ noise canceling device.

Why not use jaws in a dos box? Or, if you really want to run dos, bot up
plain dos w/o windows.
