Hi All. With the tragedy of Sat. Feb.1, we all should take a few
minutes and reflect on just how precious life is. Some say it is the cost
of doing business. Those on board knew the risks. If you heard the comments
of Loren Clark that morning when they were awaken, you could wonder what she
meant. She made a comment in thanking NASA for the opportunity to go up in
space. Could she have known some thing was wrong? After I heard about the
shuttle missing, I wondered if the crew knew that something was going to go
wronged their fate was sealed. By keeping them up there, was there any
thing they could do to fix the shuttle. Many Also another point could be
that NASA can't afford any more funding cuts. Several are pointing to the
ceramic tiles as a possibility for the problem. The NASA group may of had
there fingers crossed and hoped for the beston landing. We all may not
agree on every thing, I may have said here, but we can dialogue this around
and still respect each other. We can't forget those who are still up there,
and all of the contributions the space program has made for mankind. If you
have a different opinion, please share it, but don't attack each other.
Take care and God Bless. Gary
