Well, I found the frequency from searching, and one day when on a bus with
this old system I heard coms from the scanner, and then nothing from the
bus radio until the general call was put out. About the only times they
would do a general call is early in the morning or late in the afternoon
as a curticy greeting, or of something important happened that all the
drivers needed to know about. I could tell it was a PL because of the
hum, which while we are in a thread of DCS and PL uses, how many of you
can asctually hear a PL? I know this may sound a little crazy, but if you
listen really carefully you can hear a hum that will be faint for obvious
reasons, but since getting my HT and playing with PL freqs and DCS I've
noticed that different frequencies will have different pitch hums. DCS is
a bit of a challenge because it is more of a challenge.
