As an anthropology major you would be interested in some of the small towns,
like Kenedy, New Braunfels and other towns. New Braunfels townspeople did not
speak English until after WWII. It was 100% German, which lead to some
interesting interactions during WWII. Today, some of those towns are still
VERY provincial, including Midland which Laura Bush just "loves".
