    Currently, I am not aware of any very definitive work in the area. From
personal experience, I have definite periods of "highs and lows". They seem
amplified a little now. The lows come on suddenly and are characterized by
anxiety, restless sleep, and a tendency to withdraw from people. I do not
believe mine is related to CP, but is a mild form of bi-polar disorder. I
believe everyone has some form of this and it may be more a  function of
change of seasons, diet, etc.
