I have taken 6.0 off this computer at home - I suspected it was related to a
sound muting problem I have. The down arrow key mutes the sound and the
next down arrow unmutes it.

I hear every other line with the down arrow key. To get around this, I use
the laptop keyboard layout and use caps lock and n for the "say next line"
function.

Did you get the Sony for Christmas?

We bought a DVD player for $36 at Best Buy and I just won a USB hard drive
interface on ebay.

I will use a 40 GB hard drive in the USB enclosure for backup and mp3
storage.

I have to test the dvd player's ability to play ACB Radio files.

- Mark
