Folks...I have just downloaded JFW 4.5, in large part, because it reports
to be compatible with Macromedia flash. I have noticed a bit of an
irritating problem that I am wondering if others have noticed.

JAWS+2 (on the number row) toggles between echoing characters, words,
characters and words, or nothing during keyboard entry. In my previous
version of JAWS, I was able to set this option once, and it would
remain true while my computer stayed on. Now, I have to constantly
retoggle this option to the "none" position whenever I alt+tab
between applications. In fact, in IE, I have to retoggle the option
whenever a new web page loads.

I did try and set keyboarding echoing to "none" permanently in the
default configuration file, with
no luck.

Has anyone else noticed this situation, and if so, any solution? I would
like to be able to set the keyboard echoing to "none" once and not
constantly.

Jennison
