Many of these sites have very current revision dates. You will find
considerable variation in the legal justification and written standards
for
these policies. I hope this helps.

WebAIm has a list of the universities with web policies:
http://www.webaim.org/howto/reform/resourcelist#wash

Oregon State University has a strong web policy. It is couched in the
purchasing language of Section 508, a procurement document, but the
wording
is there.

Arizona State University agreed, yesterday, to write a university web
policy. They just put accessibility information on the homepage.
http://asu.edu/. It is a start.

The only university that I know that has publicly announced any standard
is
University of Wisconsin-Madison[1].

The state of Illinois has published its own standards [2] that are much
better than the 508 requirements used by Wisconsin. But since they are
an
executive order of the governor and the governor does not have direct
administrative control over education institutions, most educational
institutions in Illinois do not feel bound to them.

Good Luck,
Jon
