I have written Laura to ask whether she has any additional information
besides what is given in the press release. I hope that her concern
results from a misunderstanding of the wording of the press release rather
than any actual change in the gluten-free nature of McDonalds fries.

As one of this List's listowners, I have been in contact with McDonalds
several times over the years and today I contacted their head dietician.
She has acknowledged my email and is researching it. I will post any
updates as soon as I receive it, but in the meantime would suggest that we
all wait, and not start calling McDonalds for more information or to
complain.
