After reading the message about french fries and a new type of oil I
called McDonalds to ask about the future gluten free status of their
fries.  The representative I spoke with said that they are changing
their oil for fried products, but they will continue their current
practice of doing the fries in a separate vat.  She said that they just
had a staff meeting today and she said that decision was made to
continue having gluten free fries available for their customers.
