I've always felt good about using Almay products until this morning when I took the time to read the ve-e-eery small print on my TimeOff liquid makeup bottle. I've been using the stuff for years -- don't read the labels since Almay always lists their TimeOff make-up line as gluten-free. And there, not quite halfway down the 15-lines-long list, was the dreaded "hydrolyzed wheat protein" ! Wonder how long that's been there ?
Moral of the story -- don't trust companies even when they declare that their products are free of gluten and are all hypoallergenic -- read all labels anyway. Have to carry a small magnifying glass, I guess.
(Maybe that accounts for why the fingers on only my right hand are cracking and refusing to heal? I put makeup on with my right hand -- and I have DH --- Interesting thought ---)
