I was diagnosed as a sprue in the summer.  I have noticed that for the past several months my finger nails are flaky and brittle.  My thumbs especially are suffering.  I have tried to trim back the nails to prevent this, but nothing seems to help.

At some point I may run out of nails to trim.

Any suggestions?
