Yes, Singer is a big animal rights activist, but honestly, I think this bee
comment was indeed kooky.   however,  I may have to soften my views on him,
because he did say (at the thing in  Oakland, Calif.), that Americans should
be ashamed of how little we give to people with disabilities to live on, and
support them. it is only when he begins talking about cutting off life
support for brain injured babies that gets my goat up.
