That's because you can go to publix and get a gallon of orange juice for
half the price of tropicana and during oj season it's ambrosia...

Pineapple is more expensive? That's like orange juice in Florida. My folks
used to live just a short distance from the Tropicana plant in Bradenton,
yet Tropicana was lots cheaper up here.

So, were they letting native Hawaiians just pass through without searches,
but Caucasians got tagged? Interesting!

oh yes, the only thing that i say that was remoely ecconomical was beef. i
noticed that steak was cheaper in the markets than here(regularly, i shop
sales here). they have some big cattle ranches in the big island and in
maui. some other islands too i understand.

eggs 2.49 a doz. i usually pay 70-99 in atlanta. milk nearly 5.00. box of
cereal 7.00-8.00. gas 1.95 down from 2.31 recently.

the say it's from shipping, but, pineapple and macadama nuts are not cheaper
there than here. should be if it is shipping. i think it is fleace the
tourist.

oh, on interisland flights they managed to randomly search every white
passenger. amazing how that worked.
