In the short term, I think you can find out what you would gain by giving up
dairy for a period of time ( 3 weeks to six months) and then eat lots of
dairy to see the difference in how you feel. If there is no difference when
you go off dairy and no difference when you go back on then you probably
tolerate dairy. Any food can cause any problem or symptom and one way to
find out is to give up the food and then introduce it back into your diet.

In the long term, who knows what the damage will be for an individual eating
dairy. We can look at theories, statistics (I am not sure there are any) and
others experiences but we can't know for sure for ourselves unless there are
obvious symptoms. Even then there may be symptoms but we don't see them.

Diet is an experiment for the individual and the results of the experiment
means life and long term health. Good luck.

I have tested dairy and found that it causes no obvious symptoms. So if I
eat dairy I am taking a risk the same as when I eat any other food that is
processed by man. The choice is mine.

Michael
