Hey, Tom. We knew it on the alternative breast cancer list! I get 15 min.
of sun each day (easy to do in New Mexico); this helps in melatonin
production. Melatonin, produced in the middle of my sleep cycle, is what
activates the T3 killer cells that go after cancer cells.
Without the daily sunshine, there is less natural melatonin and, therefore,
less killer cells to keep the cancer in line.
I've read that, as a result of thousands of autopsies performed in the U.S.,
all women over the age of 50 in the U.S. have some breast cancer. Most
women are able to keep it in check and never even know that they have it. I
don't know if the same if true for prostate cancer.
