Unfortunately I think a lot of people in Third World countries have a
unrealistic picture of democracy bringing in wealth and riches; and they
soon become disillusioned and some will wish things to go back to the way
things were before freedom.  Look at Russia for example.

i personally don't think democacy is something that has to be forced.

freedom is somethink that is natrually in the human spirit and will bloom if

not supressed as it is now in iraq, but it will not be supressed much

longer.



do you remember the pictures of the people celebrating in the streets of

kabul when the taleban were ran out?
