Nothing like ice storms in North Carolina. In '85 I was at the Triangle
Park when a nasty storm came through. IBM's parking lot was on a steep
grade and when I came out of the building after work to drive back to
the hotel, the rental car had slid down to the bottom of the
hill...along with a couple dozen other cars!
I don't know why, Kat, but it seems that area of NC where you're located
seems to get the nastiest ice storms.

We may get that freezing rain tomorrow - temperatures are supposed to go
back down and it's still supposed to rain.

chose to chance the drive in. Since the kids have a "snow day" I can
just imagine what would happen to my productivity. ;-)

Oh yes! Up into the 50s today. :-D A bit too warm for January if you
ask me but I'm not complaining. It's raining but it's not so cold.

Weather's warming up a bit here. Hope it's doing the same in NC.
