Right.  The FBI, BATF and a few other Federal alphabet soup types are
involved, but unless there is a formal Declaration of Martial Law, the
military cannot be a "pro active" participant--something for which any
Jeffersonian Constitutionalist is particularly grateful at the moment.
These are scary times right now, and I don't mean just the fact that there
are "terrorists" on the loose in one form or another.  I'm frightened that
the urban and suburban American body politic will abandon their freedoms for
a bit of hollow, Hamiltonian security.

Uh, Mag, it's the local police who're looking for him, not the feds. The
military is loaning their serveillence planes, but that's all, I think.
